I have been get word from friends that my email has been hacked. I have changed my password multiple times, and I'm even doing the 2 step verification process as well but it continues to happen. I look in my sent folder though and do not have any of those emails showing up there. I have had other friends have this issue and ended up closing their account cause they could not get it fixed, but I have had this account for so long I don't want to do that. I have also looked through my e-mail settings and don't see anything weird auto forwarding or anything like that. Is there something else you can do to help? Like I said I have went through all the help topics and even the forget you password steps to list that my account has been hacked. I hope you can help. Thanks for you time.

I am having the EXACT same issue.  I have sent a trouble ticket into Microsoft Customer Support and am awaiting an answer, please keep this updated and let me know what happens - I will do the same.

Thanks,

Chad

The above message is COMPLETELY useless, especially when I stated explicitly in my message that I had already taken the steps indicated in the bullets. I logged into my email today only to find another "return to sender" email from the spam being sent by seemingly spoofing my account.

So I haven't been getting any help from Mircosoft. The only thing they have told me is to make sure I don't have any virus on my computer. I have ran multiple test from multiple detection softwares and don't show anything. I still can see any of the email that have been sent but some "Mail delivery failed" messages have been coming to my Junk box .....

The subject of the message is: Jonathan
The date of the message is:    Wed, 24 Apr 2014 02:36:19 +0100

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

I don't know if that makes since to anybody else? But I wish this would just stop happening. I have all my accounts linked their this Hotmail account and don't want to start over.

I have been going through the same issues with no success or help from Microsoft. it is a bummer cause I have had this account since the nineties and it seems as though I may have to start over as well. bummer I know you would think that Microsoft would be able to resolve concerns with email other than to ignore it's customers.

I'm having the exact same messages (with a different IP and message identifier).  Still waiting to get a useful response from Microsoft (not just a canned copy/paste message that looks like they didn't ever read your initial message) using the link provided above.
